New Windows XP hibernate trick (for me at least)
August 30th, 2007
I discovered two things about Windows XP hibernate function by accident today.
- When Windows is resuming from hibernation, you can pause it by hitting the ‘Esc’ key. You can then resume hibernation by hitting ‘Esc’ again.
- Also when resuming from hibernation, you can hit the ‘F8’ key and choose to delete the restore data and boot Windows normally.
I’m sure they’ll come in handy eventually.
